The next in our regular cycle of devotional Goddess ceremonies. This one speaks to the mystery of "quickening" - the great spiral dance of spirit weaving into flesh within the Mother's creative womb. An opportunity to tune into whatever potential within your being is beginning to make itself felt at this time. As always we will be creating a beautiful space dedicated to the Great Goddess as Ishtar Allat - the One Being who is Love embodying throughout Creation. "Discover the Goddess" evening
on Friday 19th May (7pm start)

A light hearted night of creative play dedicate to the Sacred Feminine. We will be dancing, singing, listening to a Goddess story and doing a simple craft activity. And of course, having a cuppa and a chat! Everyone is welcome - kids and menfolk too. A chance to follow your curiousity, meet some kindred spirits, and generally let your hair down for the night. I'm very much hoping to have the opportunity to meet those of you I haven't yet spoken with or met in person....

Girls Day Out at Lynda Pallai's place

Dances of Universal Peace

A form of moving meditation. We join hands around the circle and chant sacred phrases from the wisdom traditions of the world as we move our bodies in simple and timeless dance movements. Touch inner sources of peace and joy!

A regular circle led by Ishara and Nirtana meets Thursdays 7:30 til 9ish on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month in White Gum Valley (Fremantle area). Suggested donation $6

What is "Intuitive Healing"?

Finding the language to describe the work I do is always an interesting challenge. Recently I received an email from a woman asking me to explain "intuitive healing". Here is how I responded....

.In my intuitive healing work I essentially make myself available as a conduit for healing energy to flow through from a higher source (Goddess/God/Spirit or however you personally name that Creative Mystery behind all things) as a catalyst and support for your own healing process. Some of my clients come to the healing session with a specific issue they would like addressed. Others come out of a desire to just stop, rest and receive some nurturing energy for themselves. I am open to both.

In my understanding, our bodymind is a self-correcting energy system, which is constantly working to restore its own natural balance. Occasionally, the physical and emotional bumps and knocks of life can result in an energetic contraction or blockage – a part of our being locking up in response to a feeling, idea or experience which, for whatever reason, is too shocking to be easily integrated at the time. Subtle energy work can assist us to contact, activate and release such energetic blocks and restore the natural flow of our beings, bringing an enhanced sense of wellbeing and increasing our ability to respond gracefully to life's twists and turns. Subtle energy work can readily be used to complement conventional medical treatment or other natural therapies.

During or following a healing session, you may notice physical sensations such as warmth or tingling in particular parts of your body. Occasionally, as part of the process of releasing stuck energies, you may contact a physical or emotional pain which has been held in the body. This is usually short-lived, and once cleared, gives way to a feeling of greater aliveness in the previously numbed out area. Intuitive healing, as I practice it, is a co-creative process between yourself, myself and the Divine, in which I use my hands and my conscious attention to bring anergy and awareness to wherever it is needed for your body-mind's own innate healing process

Because my personal attunement is to the Feminine Divine, I often find myself working with women around nurture, self-nurture, birth, womanhood, motherhood and the healing of the maternal line, although my healing work is not limited to these areas. Please be assured that there is no need for you to subscribe to any particular belief system – although an open mind is certainly helpful – and that I will always endeavour to be respectful of your own spiritual path or religious tradition.

I ask people to allow 90 minutes for our appointments of which 30 to 60 will usually be spent with the client lyihng on the healing table. Sometimes one session is all it needs to bring the shift you have been looking for. In other instances, you may wish to return for a series of sessions to support your healing journey. I am available by appointment on Fridays between 9am and 3pm or at other times by negotiation. I currently practice at the Sun, Moon & Star Spiritual Centre in Minilya Ave, White Gum Valley (near Fremantle). I charge $65 per session.
